Shown here is
the internals of an Net-Wired C6 which accommodates up to 6 locations. There is a sticker on the
inside of the White steel door with hook-up instructions similar to those
below. For a CTC-12 the box is the
same size (approx 17x14.5 and 4 inches deep) to fit inside a standard stud
cavity (16” on centers). With
the 6 as with the 12 position CTC, there will always be at least one Coaxial
port open to allow the home owner to connect a Cable Modem/Router at this
central point of the wiring system and thus connect up the router to ports
for any locations around the house.
Additionally, if digital phones are to be used they can simply replace
the incoming phone lines already in the punch down block. Just lift the orange tab releasing the
existing wire and feed in the digital wire.
This in relationship to the Blue/Blue-White pair (Line 1) and/or the
Brown/Brown-White pair (Line 2). On
the cover of the box is a sticker with the Net-Wired Systems toll free 800 number
and web site in the event help is required.
